Sacrifice

5 years ago, I had to take a bullet for the well being of my homie Tyrone. I remember this like if it was yesterday. The sky was clouded and it was pretty humid. I was walking down the hood with my homie. And the all of the sudden, a big-ass truck drifted in front of us and a black dude came out the truck and yelled, “Yo niggas are fucked”. Then, he pulled out a shotgun, so I stood up in front of Tyrone and took a shot in the leg for him. The positive is that my homie and I survived the attack. The negative is that I lost a leg. If I had to change something from this experience is the fact that I took a shot for my homie because he owed me 2 kilograms of cement. I can connect this to the articles that I read because, in these articles people gave their life to save someone else. For example, in one, a kid drowned in order to save the life of his brother. The other article, a dad gave his life to save his son, he pushed him from an upcoming car.
